Show HN: Petition.stanford.edu This is the Petitioning Portal for the ASSU, Stanford University's student government. It replaces the need to get signatures on a paper petition, and is automatically validated. Petitions are uniquely valuable as compared to primary elections, because meeting a petition threshold requires active participation on the part of the candidate, and you can't succeed on name recognition alone.
